Joe,
What did you search under? I typed in "Black Suit" and didn't see his name come up. I tried in the Buy It Now store also. I would like to pick up a couple. Thanks.

Chuck,

Click on the "Community" tab in the upper right and you can search for members by their ID. Then you have a link to their items for sale.

Looks like some nice stuff...I'll bet this guy has a nice up-swing in business!

EDIT: Ha...I now know bloke's suit size...what a scoop!

Thanks guys. Time to shop. Wait, does that sound too much like my wife? How about "Time to hunt down a Black Suit and kill it". Yeah, that's better.

In addition... for those non eBay'ers... Thrift stores! I've gotten at least 8 suits, name brand, very expensive for $10 or so. I'm not an abnormal size 36 W 34 L and 44-46" chest, but it's been a treasure trove for me and my dress clothes cache. Most of the time, I just need my tailor to re-hem the pants for me.

For my family, it's an easy way to save dough, and replace wardrobes regularly with nice, name brand clothes for literally a fraction of the store cost. Especially nice to deck our kids out in baby gap, gymboree, etc.. and not whince when they outgrown them in a month.

I haven't stepped foot inside a retail store except to buy underwear and socks in 10 years since I discovered the Savers Store in Las Vegas. Name brand clothes, used, but in great condition. Find of the year: a Charcoal Grey Armani 3 Button suit for $7 with the tags still on it. The price tag said $950.00. It was a perfect 46L 36W 34L and the pants were hemmed, wore New Years with no alterations. It's amazing what people will get rid of, except for black suits, hence my thrill at this super-cheap guy.

I bought a tux years ago on "the bay" for a cruise. Definitely worth the price and perfect for performing.

Also watch JCPenney. A friend of mine just got a good black suit on final closeout, a Stafford, for $60. But then again, he is a size that is not an average size, so he's more likely to be able to find such bargains than I am, with my 42 regular.

Thanks for that link, Joe! For some reason my old tux doesn't fit any more, and I need to get a new (or slightly used) one. This is just what I've been looking for!

Each year in the fall, the large tux rental shops in the area sell off a large number of rental tuxes. These are all heavy duty, with the the adjustable waist pants ( for those of us who can use that sort of thing  ), and a lot of them have very litte use.
