Top Action compensating euph
Hello everyone. I'm wondering if anybody out there has knowledge of top action compensating euphoniums. Are there any models out there? Who makes them? The reason I ask is that we have a student who is looking for a compensating horn, but has very limited use of his left arm. A traditional setup won't work for him. I appreciate any help. Thank you!

I don't know about an inline top-action comp, but Willson makes a front action inline comp. That might be an option, because the student might have an easier time steadying a front action horn.

I think that the Willson is your only bet in a 4 inline valve compensating Euph. I have played it before, and it's a great horn. Probably have to get it special ordered from a Willson dealer, but would be worth the wait.

If your student can live with an older horn, the Besson 766/B&H "Solbron" is a top action 3-valve compensating euph.
They show up fairly regularly on ebay. Last I checked, Wichita Band Instruments and 1800usaband.com had a few. I think the prices were in the $1200-1500 range.
