Brass Section Recording

Given the number of excerpt cd's for particular instruments, I would like to see some enterprising company couple themselves with one of the high-powered brass sections from an orchestra and put out a cd of excerpts featuring the entire brass section. I know we can go to specific recordings, BUT I bet everyone would agree that it would be nice to have something like this at our fingertips. Thoughts?

Great idea. It would certainly sell well, if for nothing else out of brass players' curiosity.

How about another low brass excerpt cd? With some obscure stuff that wasn't on the Chicago lp/cd?

by the Houston Symphony low brass section playing,
Nope. an ENTIRE brass section and the excerpts featuring, and I'll be VERY specific, TRUMPETS, HORNS, TROMBONES, AND A TUBA, OR ANY VARIANT DEPENDING ON THE INSTRUMENATION OF THE BRASS SECTION.

The three CD set, of which this is volume 1, is pretty good. But no tuba.
