Old treasures

You know the saying one persons garbage is another persons treasure? I found my treasure a few months back.
For band/orchestra I had been using a PT-50. It has been doing well for the past few years. A friend of mine one day offered me a mouthpiece for $30 that he just plain didn't want anymore. He never did like it. It is a Frank Holton Revelation 52. Compared to the 50, it's huge. The first time I used it in my orchestra the director came up to me a asked if I was doing something different. I told him about the new mouthpiece and his immediate response was "I love it". This (huge) mouthpiece was exactly what I was looking for. Well kids, that's it for story time. This is Kyle signing off.
