I only know what is listed about it on Miraphone's website, but the Miraphone "Ambassador" is a top-action compensating Eb tuba that is probably comparable to the Yamaha 632 in quality and price.

Mark Carter, aka Mr. Tuba, also has a much more ergonomic and better sounding Eefer comp that is his own design built by M-W. You can read the reviews on it at TubaNews.

While the 321 Yamaha Eb is a close copy of a Besson Imperial, the 631 and 632 are nothing like the sovereigns. They are an original design, and they are excellent. I'm not sure of the previously listed complaint of the "bad lower register" is, but the 632 is excellent. If I were rich, my Imperial would be out the door and replaced with this, and I wouldn't even look to a Sovereign.
I've tried the similar configuration Miraphone. Hated it. Too big for it's britches and sounds and plays very strangely. Your mileage my vary...
Some also like/liked the Willson Eb tuba, Ron Munson for one. There's one on
www.hornguys.com.
