Has anyone out there ever played this and/or have the tuba part? I'll be doing it next week and haven't seen it.

I was so pumped about finally playing his 5th Symphony in public that I didn't even bother to check out this piece - until about 5 minutes ago.

Greetings,

Unless the orchestra part is vastly different from any band part it should be just oompahs. Neat piece to listen to, kinda boring to play.

Just played it in a band concert this past Sunday. One of my favorite marches. Typically savage Russian articulations required, but not much else.

Thanks guys, for the informative responses. The orch librarian tells me she has no part for me, but we'll see. Depends on the arrangement, I suppose.
