My tuba teacher has played the Ewazen on his tuba with both flute and trombone, and it worked very well both times. That's my opinion, of course. Others' mileage may vary.

The Telemann/Hartley dances are great fun. I play them with my wife all the time just for fun. We especially like the third movement. Also, it sounds great while being extremely easy to play.

Have you though of playing some of the Bach inventions? My wife and I play some of those -- she reads the treble clef and I read the bass, and they sound pretty cool.

I have written/arranged quite a few duets for flute & tuba. Most recently, the Allegro from the "William Tell Overture". Among others, a bunch of Christmas carols, and the Korean Folk Song, used by John Barnes Chance, in his "Variations on a Korean Folk Song".
