Does anyone out there in tubenet-land have a clue as to what model tubas Zdzislaw Piernik has used throughout his career? Just curious...

On the LP the the Penderecki was first recorded on, he is pictured playing a BS 5 valve (valve 5 in left hand) "Symphonie" F

(pre-erantucci)

Thanks for the info.
While doing some googling on him, I found a couple of recent albums of his, one of which is downloadable. The downloaded album is crazy, but really, really cool. I don't understand how he makes the sounds he does. I also found this picture of his tuba, taken last year. Sounds like he's still going strong up there in Warsaw.

Here's the two albums I found, in case anyone is interested.

I did a google image search and every picture I saw that I could actually make out pictured him playing a 6 valve B&S F tuba.
