anyone tried ?
I played the new York E flat at NABBA last year. There weren't any of the new Besson/Buffet's to try for comparison, and I didn't have my 20 year old (well, it USED to be mine) Besson Sovereign along, so I couldn't play it back-to-back with anything, but my impression was very positive. Intonation was quite good according to Mr. Korg, and response was very quick. I'd say that it was a bit more resonant than my Sovereign and notes spoke a bit quicker. Just a quick impression, but it seemed like a winner to me, until I saw the price. That's inflation for you!
