Question on Sidey Mouthpieces

I wanted to see if anyone could recommend the best parallel to a Helleberg 7B?

I am using a borrowed 7B with my new 982 and I absolutely LOVE the response, however I would like a slightly flatter and sharper inside rim edge (I always feel like I'm going to slip in!).

I would like to try one out for comparison's sake - I emailed Paul and would also like to see if any players out in the TNFJ have opinions on a match.

The Sideys are significantly bigger than the 7B. The 7B is 31.5mm. The Sideys are 32.6 and 33.46. Plus the narrower rim on the Sideys will make the difference feel bigger.

So, how did the gigs go with the Sidey?

Come on, bloke, you and I both know that years later, someone will call him an "idiot" on a tuba forum because he altered that vintage Conn 7B Helleberg.
