I'm in the mood to try some new mp's for my Thor and B&S f.Any suggestions?Considering the Baer stainless series...Maybe a bayamo for the thor...currently using a pt50+ and a 7b respectively.

I recently got the JK 3AA. It does a good job of bumping up the low end, Kahuna Factor a notch or two. Maybe a little loss of agility. If want to pour on the bass without getting tubby and without going bigger than 33mm, the 3AA is worth a try.
For a little more mid-range punch and agility, the PT44 and PT83 do pretty well. The PT83 has a more upper end punch; the PT44 more depth. I like PT44 better. Greg messed up when he sold it.

Hi Mike,
My favorite mouthpiece with my old B&S F was an RM-9 (an old style PT-9)...I actully liked the RM-9 better than the newer PT-64. Lee Stofer has them...jobey

For the B&S, I am using a Mike Finn MF-4, which provides more clarity and color than a PT-64 or any other mouthpiece I've tried on it. For me, a 7b sounds woofy and fuzzy on the B&S--way too deep for that instrument.

The euro shank Baer CC worked well on my 2155R for a colorful sound, so I would say it's worth a try on your Thor.

Try a Dillon M1C on the Thor if you can find one. Its fun
