I need a grad assistant at Pittsburg State University in Kansas. I am particularly interested in a euph player, but a tubist would be dandy, too. Please don't make me hire a flute player!

Pittsburg is a small college town located half way between Kansas City and Tulsa, Oklahoma. The position would include some work with the bands and teaching euphonium or tuba lessons. We won't have too many masterclasses with world renown euphonium performers and the studio professor is getting fat, but it is still a worthwhile place to be. This is a position where you will actually get teaching experience while under the guidance of high quality and caring professionals.

Degrees offered include a masters in performance, wind conducting, and music education. Please contact me directly with questions. This is a great opportunity for the right person, for others it is not such a great fit. I won't BS you at to whether it would work well for your career goals. If you are just a little intrigued, you could give me a call.
