Don Haddad (b.1935)
Don Haddad was formerly professor of Composition, Theory and Horn at Colorado State University. He held similar positions at Ohio University, West Texas State University, Amarillo College, University of Colorado, and the Interlochen Arts Academy. The Suite for Baritone was written in 1966, and is identical to the Suite for Tuba.
Hope this helps.

He also taught theory and french horn at the University of Kentucky in the early to mid-70's. I had him for Freshman Theory, MWF at 8 AM. A great guy, and a fine teacher. Maybe he didn't schmooze the biggies enough - he was not offered tenure. It was UK's loss, and ours.
