Yeah they need to stop making that "fake" 36K and bring back the old CONN version, and I agree they need the 14K back also. They do need more variety.

I hope everyone knows that Conn, King, Selmer and all the sub-brands of them are owned by Steinway. I don't think Holton or Getzen is yet, but give 'em time.

Especially if you don't keep any stock on hand. It's one thing to keep low inventory to ride out low ebbs of business. But Kanstul seems to have taken this to an extreme of having basically no stock on any of their instruments, building mostly to order.

As are most "state-of-the-art" business models these days for longer leadtime items...
