Song for Carol can be found on the ITEA Legacy series vol. 2 Harvey Phillips. It is often played at IU be many of the tuba students through the years.
I have never heard the Bardwell Sonata played live, but I have seen it, and know it was written in 1968. Bardwell wrote it when he was 53. other than that I do not know much more about it
