Suggestions for film music for children's concert?

I've been asked to suggest a piece that features tuba for a "Movie Music For Kids" concert in May. I first thought of Jabba the Hut, but I saw that film when I was a kid, and that's a loooong time ago.

Any ideas for feature pieces or solos are welcome!

Thanks,

Cam

I went on U-Tube and reqested "Manamana". I worked up a tuba only arrangement with a pause right before the manamana part where I stop and look around. It gets a big laugh from all the kids around here.

I took my kids to an outdoor birthday party, and a bunch of 'em broke out in an "oompah loompah" singalong. They're all 7 and under, and they were into it.

Helped that the local elementary school had performed Willy Wonka, but isn't that a sort of universal tune?

I did an elementary school gig recently and they all knew the Imperial March from Star Wars. (They even corrected me when I referred to it as Darth Vader's Theme.) So Jabba might work.

John Williams wrote "The Imperial March" and subtitled it "Darth Vader's Theme" in parentheses. So you were right. :D
