I need some help communicating with a German about my Sousaphone.

Does anyone know the German words for:

Mouthpipe/Neck
Tuning Bits

All I know is that Mundstuck is mouthpiece!

I think you might try:
Schwanenhals und Tuning-Bits für die Tuba.
gooseneck and tuning-bits for the tuba.

tuning bit = Stimmstift (at least, that's the term used with old brass instruments)
for gooseneck I see the term Mundrohr used on German sites.

in Dutch a schwanenhals is this: Image It could be something else again in German, but I'd be careful if I were you ;)

If "exhaust pipe" is "auspufrohr",
why wouldn't leadpipe be "inspufrohr".

And if tuning bits are "abstimmbits"
would naughty bits be "ungezogengeschlectenbitzen" ?

And finally, a sousaphone played by a beginner?
"Ein aussenordentlichunverkbarmusikinstrument."

No different than any other tuba part, except that the Germans generally have different parts for Contrabass (BBb) and Bass (F) tubas.

Bässe (Tuben)
