There is a Chicago Horn Consort, made up of several professional horn players in the area. Their web-site is no longer up. I'm not sure they're looking for any low brass players at this time.

Bob, I hear the group S.A.V.E. (Society of Accordians & Violas in Excelence) is looking for a good bass bone, euph. or Eb tuba player!

Sorry to disappoint, but I have on good authority that the low part is covered when it is needed with CHC.

Bob,

Our horn choir at school recently played an arrangement of Egmont Overture for 8 horns and tuba. If you can find a group, perhaps you can convince them to program this or a similar piece to get in on the action.
