Just thought id let everyone know that I found this really great website that offers a huge number of low brass exerpts in pdf format on a single cd. Its really a great deal. I heard about it from a good friend of mine and I thought id share it with those that dont know about it. Its like 90 bucks but they offer updates as they get them and there is an almost endless amount of exerpts. It has every exerpt that I have ever needed to play in auditions. The best part is that it offers all trombone, euphonium, and tuba parts to the exerpts. Its really great. The web-site is

I purchased this CD many months ago and have yet to get an "update" notification, for what it's worth.

I think there has been only one update. It was probably before you purchased your CD.

Gordon Cherry of the Vancouver Symphony created the CD. It's all public domain parts, scanned into .pdf format. There are 8000 pages of music. Not everything that you will need for an audition is in the collection, but as more works become public domain, they will probably be added.
The collection is great for practicing with a low-brass section. Just print out the parts and away you go. Much better than excerpt books that are full of mistakes and incomplete parts. For teachers, this is a must-have CD.
