That looks like two independent water keys sharing the same axle.

Joe'S remark hits the mark.
My doubt about the one axle/one spring set up being able to apply sufficient and sufficiently equal pressure to both corks stands.
I don't own this instrument. Yet.
There are so many interesting instruments coming up for sale now when people try to catch up with their holiday spendings.
My main target will remain secret until I have hit or missed it. Just so much, that it will touch many threads on this forum.
