Good News from a High School

Played a Spring concert with Centennial HS Orchestra is Roswell GA last night. The band had a scheduling conflict so they put out the call to locals to provide the winds and percussion for the concert. I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the musicianship and blown away at the attitude of these kids. There is hope! Director Young Kim is quietly sowing the seeds of excellence, in both musical performance and citizenship. They did as one piece a Vivaldi Concerto for 4 Violins as it should be, no conductor and only a chamber orchestra behind them. WOW!
