I had a chance to try this horn back in December in Montreal as a dealer down here bought one in hoping they will sell it because of growing popularity. I did try it back to back with my Yorkbrunner (HB-50) and in all fairness, my York sounds better than the YamaYork. Although, I have to say that it is a free blowing instrument with nice intonation and good flexibility in all register but it is just not like my York, where it has a bigger and darker sound and with more color. Finally, it doesn't worth the $ 35 000 + they are asking for !!!!!!!!
In terms of size, the Yorkbrunner is bigger and I agree with this thread as it is not like other York type CC tubas. You got to be a Yamaha fan to buy this.

It is a place to rest your right hand, otherwise you'll have to hold the palm of your hand up so as to not push on the 5th valve linkage.

It does indeed cost $35,000 to build.

Or for that cash, a Lexus or BMW fan.
