There is another thread on these in the "For Sale" section. I seem to recall someone posting that there was a new Schilke Geib at Dillon Music last week (maybe the week before). I'd give them a call.

Otherwise, call up Schilke and talk to Karl Hammond. He'll make you one for $170 in silver (at least that used to be the going rate...)

They are not "stock" mouthpiecs and are not widely known models (compared to a Helleberg, for example), so they don't sell tons of them. Also, Schilke classifies them in the same category as the much more popular Helleberg II, which I believe is "custom." The custom tuba series from Schilke has always been upwards of $100.

Geibs, as well as many other odd-ball variations, are generally made to order and not stocked by dealers, as a result not too many are in circulation.

It took me two years to find a used Schilke Geib, and when I did I paid the big name pro that had it made to order quite well. Needless to say, my Schilke Geibs are not for sale.

If you don't care about having a Schilke, the Laskey 30G is quite good and very, very, very similar. I believe they sell for $125-$150. There are also the Dillon Geib mouthpieces (pretty different than the Schilke) for about the same amount of money. If you're into the whole vintage thing, try to find a Conn Geib...those are even harder to get than the "famous" vintage Conn Hellebergs.
