I have put alot of thinking time into mouthpieces. I have been trying to find a narrow rimmed bowl shaped mouthpiece. I currently own the following mouthpieces: PT-88, PT-36, Marcinkewitz H1, Conn Helleberg 7B, Miraphone TU-23, Mirafone C4, Kellyberg plastic. I am playing on a Miraphone 188CC currently.
I realize (now

) that some, if not most, are good for some/most situations but not the ideal in others. I love the sound of my PT-88. I like the feel of my PT-36. My H1 Mark. has too sharp of inner edge for me. the 7B just doesn't "click". The TU-23 is great but it has just too big of rim for me. I actually really enjoy the feel and sound of my Kellyberg but it rattles in the reciever in the low register. I have been looking at mouthpices for awhile and narrowed it down to a few of intrest:
PT-70
PT-72
Stainless Steel Kellyberg
Milling down of my (old original) C4 (not sure abot re-plating it)
Markinkewitz N4,3,2,1
Sorry if this is the "same old same old" mouthpiece topic
