Conn 20J serial number

Ok. so I was looking on Conn loyalist to find the year my beloved 20J was made. But, My serial number is in the H1000 range. But this isn't listed. There's an HA1000 series. But mine has no A. Any info would be aprreiated.

That should be a 1966 horn. Look it up here:

That's close, but according to my sources, Conn started with serial # H31247 at the beginning of 1966, so a lower H-prefix number would have been made in late 1965.

Where is the serial number located? My 20J only has numbers for the valves stamped.

Assuming the valves are original it should be stamped on top of each as well as the back side of the second valve casing. Nice 10 year thread revival by the way
