When I tried the Miraphone 180 that Dillon Music had in Dec, I got good results with the smaller of the Sidey Hellebergs. The Laskey 30H may be too big, try a 30F instead.

The bigger Laskey might also screw with the pitch on your F. I'm finding that putting the deeper mouthpieces on the small horns can move the timbre in a desirable direction, but make good notes flat and flat notes unplayable. The catch is that you may not notice until you get with an ensemble, after spending many hours congratulating yourself on improving your tone in the practice room.
Okay, that sounded a-hole-ish. The sad truth is that this is personal experience. Recent personal experience.

Mr. Green, are you playing on a Laskey 30H or a G&W Baer on your CC?
Also, do you feel that playing a different rim size on your F would be bad for you?
Best,

If your playing my C piece, either original or 2006 version there is a matching F tuba piece.
They are designed to work together so you don't have to go through this crap.
Good luck,
Baer
