My new heavy duty K&M folding stand is about 27" long folded up, and this case accomodates the music stand along with my BBC Tuba Stand. I also slip my 4 mouthpiece roll into the side pocket and my Wenger "Shaving Kit" bag with my tuner, metronome, and stand lights into the wider end of the bag.
It's a little heavy, but I like the fact that I no longer have to carry the BBC stand in my bell.
I feel more organized this way, and I can avoid the big bulgy pocket on the side of my Chronkite case (where my music folders live).
I found a great bag for stand(s) and stuff

Never underestimate the value of a CONGA BAG - a guy in my quintet totes an old F Mellophone in one.
Now if I could just find a food case for my cowbell .....
