Some New Stuff To Try At ITEC!

I just spoke with Markus Theinert of Miraphone and he let it slip that Miraphone will have two prototype instruments on hand for people to play test at ITEC. They are bringing the new piston F tuba, that has had some more modifications done and it is really kicking some butt.

For those of you wondering about the "mysterious" CC191 rotary valve tuba - well, you'll get a chance to lay some hands (and lips) on this horn too. From everything I've heard this is a horn that I want to spend some time with as well.

Meinl Weston will also have a treat on hand for people to admire and perhaps play on a bit. The Travel F Tuba will make it's first public appearance at their booth at ITEC. This is a remarkable piece of engineering and a great horn to play. Stop by and prepare to be amazed!

More later.

Peace.
Roger

Awesome, I can't wait to hear what people think of these!

In the meantime, I'll try not to get too excited...I figure they both might cost (well?) over $10,000 by the time they are in production. :(
