Euphonium stand

Hey all,
I'm looking for a stand for my euphonium (non playing stand) but am having trouble finding one. I have a nice adjustable size Jupiter stand that sets my tuba upright but it doesn't adjust small enough for my euph. I have seen a wooden base that the bell slides into and seems to do a good job of holding the horn but I can't find it and am not sure what it's called or who makes it. I promise that I did search before I asked, but I'm sure I missed it somwhere

so I'm asking for your help and advice.
Basically, like some of you, I want to set my horns out on stands in the hope that I might practice more if they are ready to go. I also want something to hold my horn safe at concerts during intermission, when I'm playing multiple horns, or when I'm performing outside and don't want to set it on concrete

.
Thanks

K & M makes a euph stand which is sturdy, adjustable, and folds for storage/transport. It's just like their tuba stand but smaller to fit euphs. WWBW, Hornguys, and Dillon all carry it.
The folks at M&M Tuba also sell one. It's a Chinese knock-off of the K&M. I don't know how sturdy it is but a number of euphers here have one and I have not heard any complaints.
These stands sure beat standing the horn on its bell but still require some caution. It's sturday and stable but anything can be kicked over given the propensity for some folks to trip over anything and everything.

I use a K & M religiously to keep the felts from getting soaked with condensation and oil. Nothing worse than the sound of splat splat when the valve felts under the top caps are soaked. Get the carry bag also so you can sling it over your shoulder.

Jupiter and
Hercules makes stands that are less expenive than the K&M.
The Jupiter is pretty much a copy of the K&M stand. Not quite the quality of materials of the K&M, but higher quality than the M&M and other knockoffs I've seen.
I looked at the Hercules, but passed on it because I don't trust the design. It may be a very stable stand, but As Alex F noted, people can be clumsy or distracted, so there ain't no way I'm walking away from my euph with it sitting 20" off the floor.

The Jupiter stand linked is the one that I have and it doesn't fit my euph very well. It doesn't quite go small enough and the arms go to high so they won't grab the euph well as they hit right at the 4th valve. The Hercules, like you, I'm a little leary.
I did find what's called a pallet stand at Baltimore Brass that may be what I'm looking for, but no picture so I'm not completely sure. It's also about half the price of the K&M but I do like the option of having the horn upright rather than on it's bell so I might have to save up for that one.
Thanks to all. Any other options that we may have missed?

I've seen a couple of K&M stands where the arms were bent in slightly to get a better grip on the horn. (Even saw a vendor do this at USABTEC earlier this year.) I imagine the same thing could be done with the Jupiter, though I don't have the problem with mine.
I ran into the same problem with the 4th valve hitting the bracket. I replaced the pad on the bottom bow rest with a double layer of open cell foam cut from
one of these. Provides better cushioning and raises my euph enough (~3/4") to get a good grip on my horn.
I suspect you could get a metalworking shop to shorten the arms and the base to fit your horn for around $20-30.
