Didn't the same author write a contrabassoon concerto? Has anyone played this on tuba (I seem to recall there was a CD with both of them, but only played on the original instrument each)?

Yep, Baadsvik doing the tuba, and someone else doing the other one. It's on Itunes if you're interested.

If anyone would do the contrabasson concerto on tuba.....itd have to be transposed an octave.....fun!

But the contrabassoons dont have much literature.......lets let them have this one

You would? Why? Most of, if not all, of this sits in the gravy range on a CC tuba.
