Hi fellow Tubenetters!

Last year, I participated in the annual "Light the Night Walk" to raise funds to fight Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma and asked you to consider sponsoring me. The Tubenet community response was tremendous with donations from you totaling more than $600! For that i am truly grateful!

With this year's walk scheduled for Thursday, October 16, I am keen to get a headstart on my fundraising with an eye towards eclipsing my 2007 total of nearly $5000. We're raising the bar here and taking aim at $7500!

I will again walk in memory of Carol Tomasullo, a dear colleague who tragically fell victim to Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). She passed away on March 30, 2006, only 3 weeks after having been diagnosed.

If you would, please take a moment to click on the link below, which will take you to my personal fundraising page:

Gary's LTN Fundraising Page

I would truly appreciate any contribution you could make regardless of the amount towards my goal of raising $7,500 in Carol's memory. Your donation will be tax-deductible.

I thank you in advance for your incredible support!!

Warmest regards,

Gary

Thanks Moises and so glad you are recovering well!! Our well wishes go with you!

I am also pleased to note that through the contributions received so far, I am just under the $1000 mark already with 2.5 months still to go!

Hi all,

A quick update: With almost 6 weeks still to go before the walk, I have raised nearly $2000 so far (or 26% of my goal)! I'm very encouraged by the post-Labor Day influx of donations and am hoping that the Tubenet community will consider chipping in. Huge thanks to those of you who have already made a contribution!

Remember: no dollar amount is too small and every penny goes toward finding cures for these horrible blood cancers.

Thanks so much for considering making a donation!

Gary
