New webclips of Baadsvik and Bjorn-Larsen

Post by BVD Press »

Dear All,

At ITEC, I was introduced to a new website by Oystein Baadsvik which I would like to share with everyone on the list:

http://themusicpage.com/" target="_blank

Tuba clips can be found here:

http://themusicpage.com/tmpTextSearch.php?words=tuba" target="_blank

It is similar to YouTube, but music only. If you are Brass Band fan, you have probably found a the goldmine of clips!

I hope you all enjoy the sounds,
THE TUBA

Yeah, this site has been mentioned a couple of times before and rightfully so. There are tons of great concert videos and many more all the time. I guess the site is for all musical instruments, but it does seem to have predominately brass content. (Not that I'm complaining :) )

A lot of these videos were taken at the Melbourne International Festival of Brass (MIFB), 2007 and before.

Jon Sass is the tuba artist at this years festival! Should be amazing!

I just wish the upload limit wasn't so stingy. 30 MB? Seriously? I really like how YouTube now has a larger upload limit and the opportunity to watch videos in higher def. Perhaps when this site becomes more popular they can bump up the upload limit.
