Baadsvik CD

When I searched for a copy of Oystein Baadsvik's "Tuba Carnival" and "Prelude, Fnugg, and Riffs," Amazon said new copies were around $20!

Is this the sad truth, or is there a reputable brick-and-mortar or online store selling them for less?

Check iTunes. Both albums are $9.99 each on there.

Who needs brick and mortar when you have iTunes and a CD burner?

$36.00 on Amazon Germany
$28.00 on Amazon Japan
I am guessing a Brick and Mortar store will have higher prices than the $20.00. Barnes and Noble as well as Borders have the price around $20.00.
Here is the reality of CD imports:
A distributer imports them into the US at whatever price they get. A dealer, Amazon, then purchases them through the distributer at whatever price. They then determine what price to sell the CD's. Along the way, everyone has to make some sort of profit or they would go out of business.
I have felt for a while that the price of CD's is too high, but the reality is that Amazon has to make some sort of profit so the price is around or above $20.00.
Look for a new Baadsvik CD soon:

There are clips up so I am guessing it will be quite soon!

As opposed to ITunes $9.99? I think not.
