I'm not familiar with that music stand. The Manhassett Voyager is hard to beat for its combination of solid desk, portability, stability and cost. K&M makes an extra-heavy duty folding stand that is very stable, but costs twice as musch ast the Manhassett.

I played a gig with a trumpet player, back in July, who had a Peak folding stand. He let me check it out. Great stand for about $30. Stable base, full size folding desk compact carrying case. The Voyagers are good but still bulky for a tuba player, IMO.
I'm using a Petersen and it's "ok". It's light, the base is a bit tall(tippy) and the desk is not big(it does have fold out extenders). I like it because it folds down to the size of an alto flute case. I like the Peak better.

Pricier--around $100.--but well worth the cost is the Desca. A better stand, regardless of portability, I have never used. It folds up to a carry-size of about 4" x4" x 24", weighs 5 lbs, and has the same legs as the Baltimore Brass tuba rest stand. It is rugged, sturdy, will not blow over in anything short of a gale and the tripod legs are almost flat to the floor so they are not in your way, ever.Plus, they are good people to deal with. I realize it's a lot of money, but I don't expect to ever buy another, and I use it every day.

I love my Nilton Magic. Here is a review from a pro ww player in England. His only gripe about the stand was that he couldn't find a way to attach his beer stein. The stand was invented by a low brass guy in Sweeden so I'm mildly surprised there is no drink holder. It does hold the music great, though.

I will ditto the ditto and add that Wenger makes a nice "gig" stand. It doesn't fold up in the tradition sense but it does collapse down to athe size of the desk top. around $100 i believe.

I have a Peak and I love it. It has a carry bag which comes in handy for little stuff that needs a place, too. The Manhasset folder is a good one (my drummer friend uses one) also.
