I had the pleasure of listening to this CD twice today! It is REALLY outstanding! Marty plays beautifully, as always.... just so effortless. Wycliffe Gordon has my vote for the most imaginative brass player I've ever heard. Would love to have 10% of his creativity. (Would also love to have 10% of his chops!)

Buy this CD!! Two great musicians playing fun music with love and joy!

It's nice to see the tuba player actually being an equal in this rather than just an accompanist who gets to step out occasionally. Man, these guys can play.

I've never met Mr. Gordon, but I heard Mr. Erickson with the Millennium brass a few years back, and got to hear him and talk to him a little at NABBA last year. He's one of the most personable, helpful guys I've ever met.

I also have this CD - WOW! Definitely a must own for any player's library! They definitely make the playing sound effortless.
