So I was watching the DVD of Blast, and I was trying to figure out what the upright tubas were...I am 90% sure they are CC tubas, but not entirely


Anybody know for sure?

Its a 3/4 CC horn.

i have a blast DVD and i think there using Getzen CB-50s, and a yamaha convertable tuba, but i could be wrong

Yup, they're using Yamahas now. They were using Getzen/Canadian Brass horns when they started (and, for a while, used their King 2-valve G horns from their Star of Indiana days; they were called "Brass Theatre" then, too).

On the DVD they used Getzens and Yamahas (I think 321s). They switched to the 621 CC later.
