I'd hug this Yamaha, but I fear that the raw brass will give me tetanus.

I started my junior on a Chinese oval euphonium/baritone. Cheap and thin brass light. Not much for tone, but played in tune and had good response. It served its purpose for getting started before moving to tuba. He played tuba through 8th grade and decided (with my wise counseling) that he really didn't want to bust his anus doing marching band. (Isn't slave labor illegal?) And has since switched to bass guitar.
I still got the oval wonder.

Whoa, rough school!

Oh man, yeah...
I won't give specifics, but my old marching band's motto included the word "jejunum".
