For anyone who has already ordered it, your copy will go out in the mail tomorrow. If you would like a copy, I am selling for $18.00 through the end of October on my site:

The CD includes:

No idea and maybe someone can confirm this, but I believe the CD companies get the files to Apple/ITunes and then they are put into a cue of some sort. I know a few on the the TubeNet have CD's up there so maybe they could help?

show the east coast some love oystein!
Look for Oystein on the East Coast and Mid-West in February 2009! If you would like to have him at your school, have your teacher email me and we will see if we can make it happen! The dates tend to fill up quickly, so the sooner I hear from people the better.

HOLY CRAP!!!! This CD is off-the-hook great!!! Oystein Baadsvik has reset the standard when it comes to these four pieces. The sound, dexterity, musicality, finesse, clarity are second to none. Monsterous playing by both the Soloist and Orchestra. This album now ranks right up there as one of my favorite solo Tuba recordings.
BUY THIS ALBUM!!!

Oystein is going to be at the University of Louisville the long weekend of October 11-14 for the International Brass Chamber music festival too.

If you're near, come check him out. I know I'll be there to play in the masterclass! If you think he's good on CD and on YouTuba.. er Tube, you should see and hear him in person. It'll either make you want to go practice or never touch the horn again! He's that good.

Also, The Spanish Brass, Sonus Brass, Proteus 7, and the American Brass Quintet (they get a mention even though they don't have a tuba).

Ah.... just go to the website.

Hope to see you there!
