Doctoral Work

Whereas I am already doing the "leg work," I figure it doesn't hurt to throw out on the boards that I will be graduating with a Masters this year and am currently hunting down doctoral options. I am interested in both a tuba concentration or any available and viable options based on my past, degrees, and interests (and money available).

I have a BM in Music Education and will hopefully soon have an MM in Performance. Feel free to contact me for any other details and I'd be happy to tell you, or simply chat it up!

Thanks for listening!

Oh, yeah? Well I'll see your retrograde and raise you to retrograde inversion!

The main message of this thread is the original posting. I am out of any academic loop, especially the American such ones. Yet I find the message important as it relates to music and to the career of a dedicated young person. Two well-meaning TubeNetters executed a bump function in imitated musical forms.

If “dorks” is a further metamorphosis of the row starting as “bump”, then it passes way over my head, but I am ready for a dissertation which step by step takes me through the further developments.

One scholarly Higgins got himself a fair lady; another maybe more needs a fair attitude.

With the best wishes for the OP and his search for a position where he can develop and be developed.
