Does anyone have a Mira 191 in So FL?

I want to play a Miraphone 191 (4 or 5 valve). The last one I played was over a year ago, when I bought a new 186 and I wanted to try to find one in south Florida (West Palm Beach - Miami). Does anyone have one that you would let me play (at a location of your choosing)? I really had trouble with the very large bore, but I think I could get over that, if I played it for more than just a few minutes. Thanks for any responses.

Mr. Merring,
The Kendall campus of Miami-Dade College's band department has a 191 that I believe stays in their storage. I have not played the horn, but I have heard a couple of guys play it during community band rehearsals it sounds VERY nice. The bad news, though, is that the 4th valve paddle is trashed. I don't know exactly what happened, but you can't use the 4th valve. The rest of the horn is very good condition.
The music department head Mr. Rodester Brandon is a very nice guy who I think would have absolutely no problem with your coming over to play with the horn somewhere if no one is using it. I can go in and see if it is there, too (as in, someone hasn't taken it home to practice).
Miami-Dade College Music dept. phone number is:
305-237-2422
Mr. Brandon's e-mail address:
rbrandon@mdc.edu" target="_blank
I hope that helps! Please let me know if there is anything I can help with.
