This Thursday evening in Chapel Hill the NC Symphony performed Don Quixote. The performance sounded wonderful to me and I thought the tenor tuba part sounded great! The program didn't say who was playing the tenor tuba part, and we were sitting in a spot where we couldn't see the brass section, but I thought I caught a glimpse of Neal Corwell, and it looked like he was playing a very large belled euphonium. The program said they would be performing DQ in Raleigh on Oct 3 & 4. Bravo!
