I haven't heard the cuts referenced, but my wife (flute) performs Piazzolla music with guitar... perhaps that's the way it's orchestrated/printed.

I believe the Tangos are from l'histoire du tango, which is for Flute and Guitar. Whether or not an arrangement/transcription for tuba is available you should be able to find a copy at most music libraries or you could order it online.

If you just need music from Piazzolla, the tangos from Oystein Baadsvik's "Danzas" CD are available from my site. I am not sure if that helps? Oystein happens to be on tour in the US currently and performing the Tangos at each stop. Here is a link to the colleges he will be making stops:

Baadsvik's arrangements are for tuba and piano, but you can probably finagle something with a good guitar player.

Apologies for being slightly off topic, but has anyone other than Piazzolla written a tango that's made it out of Argentina?
