Here is a quick reminder that it is that last week to purchase the new Oystein Baadsvik CD for $18.00 from my site:

For anyone attending the Army Tuba Conference in DC 2009, Oystein has now been booked to play the Vaughan Williams Concerto with the US Army Band. In addition to the Army Band, to make this happen Dillon Music, Cimarron Music Press, Miraphone and BVD Press have agreed to co-sponsor his appearance.

As some of you may know, app. 2 months ago I purchased Music Express. This basically means I have been staring at dots (nothing new I know) and getting lots of charts into the computer and ready for sale. This week I completed work on the Tuba Quartets from the catalog. These were all arranged by Mike Forbes and are excellent charts! In this group of pieces, there are three dixieland standards that have sold separately in the past. They will continue to be sold this way, but I have chosen to also put them in a book and sell them as set. The charts are:
1. Just a Closer Walk 2. Royal Garden Blues 3. St. James Infirmary
The set will sell for $30.00, but until the end of October it will sell for $20.00. It can be found on the bottom of my homepage.
Royal Garden Blues and St. James Infirmary can be heard on the Sotto Voce CD "Consequences":
