Gig bag repairs

I am looking for recent information and recommendations, please, on getting the zipper on a Dolly Bag replaced. Does anyone know if that business is still viable? See their link below. Their products enjoyed a good reputation. Two years ago, I bought a mouthpiece bag from that business, sold directly from the auction site, and it shipped from New Jersey. I am quite happy with that purchase. Please feel free to pm me if you prefer. I will keep your pm confidential. Thanks.

Dean, you're asking if Dolly Bags is still viable? email them and ask, but the website is still going...they're not a new find that you uncovered; they've been in business since at least the late 80s.

Yep.

I've used a [then] local, small town, shoe repair shop to replace the zippers on my Dolly Bag case. He had heavy duty zippers in stock and in the necessary length. Repair took a couple of days, zipper is better than new.

Beware that heavy duty, long zippers and having them sewn into a gig bag isn't cheap, but is far, far cheaper than buying a new case or bag.
