Ok,I hereby vow that I will not get tangled up in a bad/mangled part to S&S for orchestra ever again. Is there indeed a real tuba part?I think I've only seen string bass,3rd tbone,or even euphonium parts, but not a part that actually says"tuba".Has anyone maybe sat down and finale'ed one?The parts I've had to use were old, ragged, and the 1st strain written in an octave below in pencil(poorly) by some former tubist.Pops concerts already not always being under the best of conditions,I would really like to have a nice clean part.Anybody got a file of this to send me :D

[rant] I have only done S&S with an orchestra 2 or 3 times. However, every time I've had the [drip] pleasure, [/drip] the part has looked as if it was used to wipe someone's bottom before being put on the photocopier. [/rant] Best of luck, sorry I'm no help.

I always use the bass part and only play when the whole brass section is playing.
