New leadpipe for old Cerveny

I have an old Cerveny Piggy CC. It is labled "Sanders" and "C.S.S.R." The leadpipe got pretty bably rotted. I was patching it with clear nail polish. A local shop ordered a new leadpipe for me. I took it in to do the replacement during some "down" time. Before the main technician could get to it, one of his helpers decided to remove the old one. Well, when the torch hit the nail polish it sort of "blew up". Then they looked at the new leadpipe and noticed that it didn't fit. He used some stock leadpipe blank to splice into what was left. It works but is not as free-blowing as it used to. Who can I call on to find or fabricate a new one?

I would be grateful for any advice.

Unfortunately, I have no room in my schedule to fabricate one in the next three months. If you need it faster, I might try Dan Oberloh, or ask if he has a recommendation.

There are many, however, who can probably adjust a modern pig pipe for you...

was the pipe filled? Mine, c. 25 years ago, came filled with pitch or whatever to make it easier to adjust. I'd think it should be fairly easy to do, but time may be on the tech's mind.

Custom Music should still have a source for the pipes.
