Hey Bloke,
Have you found the measurements for the felts on my Yamaha YEB632S, yet? It will probably be a couple of years before I go to the Memphis area again and I don't want to wait that long.

I started to edit, but you replied before I got to it.
I realise you would have no trouble if you had the horn in yout hands, hence the reference to travelling to Memphis.
How about my Boosey and Hawkes euph. Is that any easier? I seem to choose some non standard equipment.

This would be very easy for me if Kathlyn DenBraven and the whole Grand Rapids crew were still up there...but there is no longer any real "customer service" (at least that I know of) in the US. All the people that I seem to be able to talk to now (west coast, possibly...??) are people who can enter orders *if* *I* have the part numbers available.
Your bore size, apparently, is .768" (quite large for a 3+1 comp Eb). That bore size is not the same as the (common) YBB-321/201 (.728"), and nor is it the same as the bore size of the 621 series (.689")...so all I could do (I suppose) is see if the 321/201 bumper spacing is the same as the 621 spacing and (huh-oh!) then *assume* that that Yamaha possibly has a "universal" spacing for most all of their tubas.
Again, I don't like to assume. I'd rather admit *ignorance (as I am here) rather than bs or simply send the wrong stuff that doesn't line up correctly.

Please note, though, that when I discovered the thickness of the Nirschl bumpers, I made that size public to all. There is simply no point in being secretive about stuff as inane is this.
According to the Yamaha USA site the YEB-632 has a .689/.728 dual bore. 0.768" doesn‡ apply for the valve bore of that model.
