Congratulations to Tim and Yamaha!
Education has my interest, also the logistics of teachers. I am European, so my knowledge about the US geography is from books, maps, and the web.
What puzzles me: How is it possible to hold teaching positions in Ohio and Florida at the same time? And then work in places in between also. It hardly can be done by car. Is it a matter of air commuting and having a tuba ready at each school and at each playing venue?

The Miami University in question is also known as Miami of Ohio, seen here:

Miami University alumni like to point out that Miami University (1809) was in existence before Florida (home of the University of Miami) was admitted to the Union (1845).

Greetings all,
Many thanks for all your comments. No need to fear, I still have, and am keeping, my Gnageyphone.
Happy holidays to all!
