The fact that the site still works means he's still paying for web hosting, which means he must still be geting orders? Are they still $50, or has the price of raw materials gone up?

bloke, I wonder whether affixing these nut-like items to tubas will turn them into sort of nutcases?
Anyway I plan to go to a hardware store tomorrow, so I might buy a few sets of heavy nuts to test on my low rotorphones.
And while we are at it improvising improvements for tubas I will give you, for free(!), an idea for that big celebrity rip-off all of your own:
When brass washers have become so hip, at least for the initiated ones, in aligning pistons, why not brass bumpers for rotary valves?
Just buy some brass rods of various appropriate diameters. Shave them flat at one side for a secant profile supposed to precision align all samples of various tuba models. Cut them into cookies of thicknesses equal to the thicknesses of the horseshoes of various tuba models. Sell them in sets of 3, 4, 5, or 6, so that these guaranteed-to-last brass bumpers can be put into place by the owners themselves. Noise? Isn’t the sound of O-rings-as-felt-substitutes already an accepted percussive element in the playing of piston tubas?
Go with a price per set not exceeding $179.95 just to make sure that you stay competitive compared to the really-really big names.

How 'bout this?

Quite a range if you reckon that there is only one Gb in each octave.

It could just be 28 Gb's in total, even if they're in the same octave!
(I have no idea what happens when you get to the 29th... )

if it's an improvement to the product, no problem...
aside from the apparent psychological problem, if you do such thing...
but, the mouthpiece, combined with the nut job, would guarantee a world-class sound.

PLEASE Klause, can you tell us all about your playing experience and do please include a recording so we can all bask in the glow of your greatness! Given the list of wonder instruments you must really tear it up!! Oh PLEASE Klaus, can we hear your words of wisdom and listen to your glowing tone???

What about telling us your own name, when you use mine (or something the like)?

Hmm. Right after I got my Besson, I heard about these things. So I taped some heavy washers to my bottom valve caps. After all, mass is mass. All they did was impede response, but then again, the Besson is built like a tank to begin with.
