A Honkin' Brassy New Year's Eve

Happy Kringle and all of that -
If you are wondering what to do on early on New Year's Eve, maybe you give a listen to KFJC
89.7 FM in the SF Bay Area or streaming on line at http://www.kfjc.org" target="_blank on New Year's Eve,
(Wednesday the 31st) from 7PM to 10PM PST - I will be playing lots of
Balkan Brass, as well as Honk! Style Brass bands, New Orleans Funky
Street bands and some other really strange brassy stuff.
Lots of tubas and Euphoniums (and other lesser brass ;-)
I have done shows like this in the past on KFJC, but now I have so
much more material from all of the brasswind festivals and events that have
happened in 2008. If you have any special requests, reply here or send me an e-mail
off list. I will be spinning live, so you can also call the studio at
650-941-2500.
Dave Richoux
(for those on the list who don't know me - I have been a DJ at non-commercial KFJC since 1983 and usually play a very brass heavy program of historical jazz and other interesting music, usually featuring brasswinds.)
